As soon as you’re able, wash your new tattoo thoroughly with warm soapy water and pat dry with a clean towel. When applying cream, use a non-oily, product VERY sparingly. Once a day is good starting 48 hours after your tattoo session. Rub it all the way in so that you don’t have a film on top. Less is more – your tattoo should never look waterlogged. Continue this for 3 – 5 weeks AND REMEMBER: No sun, No submerging it in water (especially the ocean), No scratching, No touching it with unwashed hands, No tight clothes over it, No picking at the scabby/flaky bits, No cream for the first 48 hours. You can shower as normal and you can workout/go to the gym as normal. Special considerations should be taken for tattoos on the feet/hands and joints.
